MARCH
Unit 1: In the Beginning Was the Word
The theme of this quarter's lessons is God's Creative Word, and the foundational Scripture passage is John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
The first two lessons in March we will learn how the wisdom and love of God is displayed in His creation. As we seek to be wise in a godly way, we will know His love and will for us and obey it.
March 4-Wisdom's Origin (Proverbs 8:22-35)
March 11- The Word Became Flesh (John 1:1-14)
Over the next four lessons we will look into the many examples Jesus used to reveal the truth about himself with others. These signs and truths still serve as markers for our faith in Jesus as the Son of God.
March 18- Water Turned to Wine (John 2:1-12)
March 25-Nicodemus Learns of New Birth (John 3:11-21)
April 1-Jesus Testifies to the Truth (John 18:28-38)
April 8-Jesus Lives! (John 20:1-10, 19, 20)
APRIL
Unit 2: Jesus' Powerful Words
The following three lessons in April we will see why it is important to pay close attention to Jesus' words. If we heed his instructions, blessings are sure to follow!
April 15-Temple Is Cleansed (John 2:13-22)
April 22-Samaritan Woman Finds Living Water (John 4:7-15, 21-30)
April 29-Blind Man Receives Sight (John 9:1-17)
MAY
Unit 3: I Am . . .
In the concluding four lessons of this quarter we will learn that true "life" can only be found in Jesus. He is the source of life, the giver of life, and the sustainer of life!
May 6-The Bread of Life (John 6:22-35)
May 13-The Good Shepherd (John 10:7-18)
May 20 -The Resurrection and the Life (John 11:17-27, 41-44)
May 27-The Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:1-14)
Diligent study of these lessons will not only bless you spiritually but also aid you in discovering God's plan for your own life.
