Dwight E. Dillard

Rev. Dwight E. Dillard, Sr. was born in Ensley, Alabama. His higher education was received from Daniel Payne College, the University of Montevallo, and Birmingham Theological Seminary. Dillard has served forty-two years in the active ministry of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. His ministry spans from circuit pastor to presiding elder. Presently, he is serving in his eighth year as the Presiding Elder of the Birmingham-Florence-Tuscaloosa District of the Northwest Alabama Conference. He is married to Christine Ezekiel Dillard and they are the proud parents of four adult children and five wonderful grandchildren.
